Edit: OK i must say i watched the video and the new bracelet comes closer to the gen (Same on 15202) didnt noticed that before, looks "cheap" on that gen review aswell so it seems like its just the bracelet style which is completly different to the 15400.

Edit2: ok the gen bracelet from the 15202 is different the quartz rep here more replicats the 15450 bracelet.

Missing 12 oclock marker.... I saw that on other TD pages too and 10 mm

Ofcourse there is the fatpanda version which is 8.8 because of the wrong rotor but the rest is identical and have quality problems at the moment.

It would be too thick tho wouldn’t it. Their other models are. I wanted a 15450 but thickness puts me off, The gen 15450 , 15202, 15400 are known for the slim profile cases.

Nice comparison between GENUINE 15202 39mm ($140) and the 15450 37mm ($380)..... unfortunately the JF 15450 is 11mm .... food for thought to consider and help you decide, never quite perfect in any rep choice

Look at that profile and caseback on the 15450 then look at what jf gives us then cry profusely... how could one spend 378$ on that (i did btw) instead of 139 for this quartz is plain stupid

i call bs on the quality of JF bracelet.. had them all..none of them felt particularly different from the other. Maybe it's me..

My only gripe with this watch (whether 15400 / 15450 / 15202 ..) is that the gen sparkles like a 70s disco ball, bracelet and dial really do. The rep is nowhere near that.

Sorry .. not being clear in my 'ask' .. too many pinot's ... is the JF bracelet superior in quality finish to the FatPanda or this bracelet in its finish.

I have the JF V2 15400 and it shines like a disco ball because my friend have a gen and look in the V3 thread someone had bought a gen and the shining is the same.

Even the quartz here shines like a disco ball but the quality is lightyears away from my 15400 V2 even my old quartz have more "Sparkling" because they use a better bracelet structure.

I guess we all have different standards. My V3 bracelet sparkles so much that it can be uncomfortable to wear it certain settings. It is very bling, I don't know much more the gen could shine. Even mech500 mentioned the brilliance of JF's bracelet in his gen comparison.

New vs. Old bracelet, so what they did is they changed the bracelet to be thinner + used other midlinks (polished) BUT they were a little bit slopppy because the endlinks on mine are not really "straight" more like bend and stuff. They even overpolished the new one so it looks kinda awkward BUT with real sunlight the error is invisible with warm electronic light you see it directly. So they tried something good but fucked it up but on the wrist is quiet not noticeable but thats why i did the New vs old pictures (and video) to just show the differences.

Yes i know i fucked up the Aspect Ratio it was a pain in the ass to film it with my smartphone.

+1 the autonatic versions has a better bezel but costs almost double the money and is not really "better" in terms on quality.

I wonder if we could 'franken' the automatic rep bezel and bracelet onto this quartz watch head? Particularly this one: https://www.intime03.co/audemars-pi...2-ss-blue-dial-on-ss-bracelet-miyota9015.html

Would that make a better rep? At what cost though? And is it worth it?
