The only problem I had with the bracelet was with clasp. I could only close one end not both. I solved the problem by filing some of the material so that both ends would not rub each other when closed.

Good to hear that you have no issues.
I still wear my watch, but like i said... the bracelet is to sharp (i might try to buff it out) and to stiff in all links.

I've heard about the edges of some bracelets as being sharp, the solution done by members was to sand just the edges.

Ill just try to do some fix on it, was cheap enough that its not the end of the world if it gets ruind.
Right now my a big problem is that i cant get the braclet of the watch.

Plan is to sand and do the babyoil treatment.

Hmm, can't get the bracelet off? Try putting some WD-40 or penetrating oil on the screws and let it soak awhile. A long while, 15-30 minutes.

Got it off now. one off the screw has bad threads.
The bracelet has been soaking for 2 days in WD40 and i have used some 1200 sandpaper on the edges.

Cant wait to test it after a few days in babyoil.

Got the bracelet out of the oil and cleand it. Feels better, but iim not please with it. My main problem now is how "bad" the endlinks are, but i am getting very picky regarding what i paid for the watch.
For the price, this is a great deal. Maybe not a great REP.

Used 1500 Sandpaper on th innside of the bracelet and lock for smoother edges, washed and let it sit in WD40 for 2 days, then had it in babyoil for 2-3 days..

I might let the watch go and wait for a good autmatic rep instead.

i was never a fan of the idea on spending 150 bucks on a rep just because there is no decent alternative

Angus said the 15202 from JF will release around November. I would call this a first decent attempt in the high end range.

Even with 1,5mm more in height and some minor things here and there (and the enormous price of 488,-) it is a first step in the right direction IMHO

I will buy it - otherwise we won't see a V2 hehe

(BTW i have the feeling that they will change the DW font as the silent updated all their 15400 V3 and i heard their 15703 V9 diver too - so one thing less to worry about the upcoming 15202)

i don't see the issue with height when the complete case proportion is wrong like on the quartz.

all i said was it is a first high end attempt

The "Prototype" is the final product they just stopped it because everyone saw the flaw on the rotor.

Why did they go for quartz instead of doing it automatic? If dhgate watches can have automatic, probably means it is not very hard to implement. So why did they go for quartz? Movement quality?

I heard the thickness before, but I have a nautilus from DHGate from when I use to shop there, and the thickness is not even bad.
