Bell & Ross Gen rubber strap

Well, I just received a gen rubber strap for my Bell & Ross orange but now I have to spend more money because the rep PVD buckle doesn't fit ...oh well off to order the gen PVD buckle. I will post pics when it all comes together. :wink:

I believe Andrew now has the correct 1:1 rep rubber stap and buckle for the full sized 46mm B&R.

Though material may not be 100% like gen, Trusty's rep strap looks spot-on.

I used to own a gen BR-01-94 orange before. I notice the buckle is of different size with an ordinary BR-01-94. So I think they have rep the wrong strap and thus give u the wrong size buckle. Thus it cannot fit on a gen strap.

Sorry to go off topic but how reliable is the 46mm BR? I've wanted this watch for a loooong time but have been put off by the whole 'discrepancies' issue...

So Yay or Nay on tihs one? IS there a better one coming out? Thanks!

The discrepancy was with the tyupe of movement that was being used vs what was advertised. It still has the same movement on it and from reviews it seems to be very reliable. Its only been out for about 3 months so only time will tell. Ill be getting one in the next week or so, so well see how she runs.

Excellent!! Anyone care to elabotate on the reliability of the PVD coating? Someone was saying it wasnt going to last long... anyone have experience with this? I was going for the orange PVD but if there are issues mught as well go for the SS/black.

My orange PVD has been fine so far....the PVD buckle is on the way from jolly ol England. I should have it by Wednesday or so....It should look great with the gen strap and correct size carbon buckle :wink:
