Hi Guys,

I came across fixing a keyless works on a JF Milgauss. after putting everything back together , I notice that the second hand continues to sweep when I pull the crown all the way to position # 3? Do you guys know if JF or Noob forgot to install a "balance stop" on their A2836 clone movements?

I've seen some vintage watches without date features that has the same continous second hand sweep. Curious to know if the Gen Milgauss have this feature or not? I'm really irritated by this although I have to say the PR on this watch is pretty good inspite of being an asian clone.

Much obliged for your comments!

Thanks for your 2 cents Raddave, I have a feeling the balance stop popped out when I was messing with the keyless works. I ordered an extra balance stop just in case .

I doubt it popped out, unless you had the bridges off on the rear or the watch.
Most likley, you did not get it indexed with the slot on the gear, or possible bent it slightly when assembling.

Should be an easy fix either way.

Good luck !

You can actually get to the hack lever without de-casing the movement or taking off the hands and dial. Much easier. You can see it in this video at 2:13 minutes.
