I bouth a rolex watch gmf at 500usd~ from andrew . andrew service is very responsive and nice. i received a defect mechanism and the watch cant keep the time for more the half an hour. i let the service know about it from the first day i received it.
i have sent them to repair and payed the shipping .. the china custom stoped the package and didnt let it arive to andrew at all.
( because of the shipping method) i bought the watch at september 22 and it`s now april 23 and i doesnt have the watch back yet (even thought the mechanism is broken).

they suggested to send me mechanism but i need to pay for it!
Andrew, actually advise me to pay for something i received defective, and i let them know about it from the first day. I dont really care about money ,but care about service.

I was about to buy few more watches even tought the watch was defective because i trusted the service and fast replies. but now the replies taking days and i gave up.
evantually i dont have a watch defective or not.
I payed shipping to send it back for repair and waited 3 months to arrive to them (because directions require slow method shipping and not express). And after all of that , that i even dont have the watch and dont know if i will get it back because tracking number expired, they tell me i can get a discount about the mechanism which i received defective.
The only option i have left is to share this with u on this forum.

Sending a counterfeit watch back to China is very risky and there is a very high chance it will never arrive...

The dude's gotta share his experience somewhere @BMW760 .
Yeah the advice is to never send a watch back to China for repair because it almost never reaches successful conclusion.
Pick a better TD next time ;) I personally really enjoy using TD JTime, because they are so easy to contact through whatsapp and lovely to talk to.

When your first post to a forum is complaining, it makes it suspect. That's all they have had to offer the forum ? Sounds like someone who pops in looking gain something instead of contributing. Same crap we see over and over daily in these sections.

Naw. We don't all like to write our brain's drivel in English all about the forum. Haha.

here are some pics of the order conversation , the qc , and the watch i received .
if you would like to see a video of the defective mechanism i can send also if you have more suspects. the only reason i write here is to share what i had and have with this order. each person take his own conclusion.
i have seen the qc before shipping and the test was ok . it doesnt make any sense with the watch i received because it`s far from ok.
sending to china was seller idea, and i didnt choose that .it`s the only solution i received that make sense ( even tought i need to pay for shipping rate) which now i also understand that to send to china is anyway not an option.

I mean, dealing with customers, you're going to have reviews. Whether they be good, or bad. It's also a sure fire way to get a response from the dealer, as well as give him a chance to prove as to why people should choose him, instead of leaving it bad for everyone. TT states he has a 6 month warranty. I definitely don't feel like he has anything to gain, especially by "venting" - definitely not driveling.

@Sycc Oops, I didn't think OP was driveling. My written language is a bit pants so I confuse people and confuse myself very often. I was meaning that just because he doesn't write all day on the forum like the drivel I write, it doesn't make his first post any less valid. And that I'm glad he made an effort to tell us about his experience. I hear some lowsy stuff about Trusty's aftercase occasionally but I'm really hoping OP gets a nice resolution.

I agree entirely. I don't think he was looking for anything "free". I feel like he just wanted to address it and give him a chance to make the situation right. I would much rather someone tell us about a bad experience, rather than not hear it. I don't feel as if the other guy "jumping" to a conclusion was at all justified/warranted. I'm all for expanding our community, and not making new people feel some type of way because they addressed a grievance. I have seen it numerous times since I have joined, sadly.

I have spent $10 dollars & got great CS, and spent $10,000 dollars & got hardly no CS. I would say the customer is definitely not always right, but IMO if you're spending/have spent money with someone on something, no matter the price, customer service should be the top priority w/ a resolution that satisfied not only the customer, but to potential customers as well so they see spending their money with them is a good idea.

Great first post !
I see that response to new members' first posts that are critical of a TD frequently and many of those new members' posts often deserve that response. This one seems legit. No, he shouldn't have sent the watch back. Yes, he should have opened a ticket and let the RWI staff handle it. At the same time it is helpful to folks who are considering dealing with TD's to see customer reviews.

Read up on how that works. The OP is not eligible for this.

The reason you see those responses is because many new members post ridiculous expectations concerning the transactions. This isn't Amazon. You're dealing with an overseas vendor of illegal counterfeit goods. The staff at RWI has worked hard for decades putting together a solid list of Trusted Dealers. That being said it's not perfect. We are paying a miniscule percentage for a replica versus it's gen counterpart. Don't expect the customer service that you would get at an AD. You have to also understand that the TD is at the mercy of what the rep factory gives them. How are they to know that the watch they shipped you is going to stop working a day or so after you receive it ? Most of you get rectal itching if your watch isn't shipped within hours of QC approval. The TDs do their best to send the pieces out quickly. What do they have to gain by sending you a defective watch ? If you bother reading and educating yourself before purchasing, you'll understand the process and be realistic.

Many of us have grown to be suspicious of a first post that's simply about flaming a dealer when that person doesn't understand the process. Many of you would be better served to let the education offered here to sink in. Once you have that knowledge, you'll be able to opine from a better point of view.

your respone was very helpful(y) now i know RWI could have help me throw the proccess.
at that time i was only offered to send it back for repair(which now i know it`s a dead-end solution), after time has past and the package still hasn`t arrived they suggested to send me the mechanisem ( to pay for it ) and give to a local dealer to replace, but now there is no watch at all.

only thing i have left is to trust another TD and hope it doesnt arrive defective again

All i am talking about is more then 6 months since i got the watch.
I could have post a negative respone from the first week. believe me i gave him time and try to get to a solution together, i walked with the watch for a week as he asked to see if it will be ok, I payed shipping without questions or ask for refund, all that time i could have do a cashback without all the troubles. but this is not how I solve problems.
to miss guide me and to ask to send it which you all agree is a bad idea it`s just to disrespect me and earn some time.
it could have been solved if the qc was more then 2 minutes long.

During this time i was talking with him about another models to buy because mistakes can happend and i understand it. but there is a difference between misguide and give a good service. at some point I was responed once a week to my messeges.

Welcome to RWI,
You should have spent more time reading before buying. Never try to send a watch back to China. Any watch I buy that arrives with a problem I send it to a watch maker in USA to be repaired at my expense. The repair cost is just part of buying Reps for 10% of the Gen cost. My guess is less than 5% arrive with a problem.

Sorry that this has happened to you but like everyone stated ... you should never send a watch back to China cause 9 out of 10 it will most likely get seized . You might as well take an L on this one lesson learned. A Mod should have been the 1st person you contacted of the situation and your outcome probably would have been a little better.
