Recently I posted about a B50 I saw on the gate. (And a vast amount of other watches)
As I said back then, I'm aware of the crappy quality they sell and that anyone should stay away from those watches. But I also said I really quite liked the B50. It seemed to be decent quality, despite the quite obvious flaws it had.
After asking a video and qc pics I decided to try my luck with this watch.
It arrived today and I believe I found a little gem on the gate. Let me share with you:
* I know it is not a flawless rep. The numbers 3,6 and nine are hard to miss and there's the matter of extra pushers on the left of the case. So I'm not going in to all the flaws. That was not the point. The point is that I believe you can have a real nice watch for €61, including shipping.
Here it is, flat on the table.
First thing I noticed, it's a beast. Usually, my Seawolf humiliates all other watches. But the B50 has the Seawolf for lunch. Not that obvious in the picture. But believe me. It's hugh. Lug with is 24mm and it weighs just a few grams under my Seawolf.
Overal finish is actually very nice. Not titanium. But all feels solid. The crystal has blue AR coating. But shines a lot during the day. In the evening or under a led light it's way better.
Caseback even has the right markings.
The bracelet is 24 mm at the lugs. After a baby oil bath it feels about as good as my others. There might be a little more distance between the links. But not noticeable. Engravings are laser eged. Wings and letters on the clasp are good. (Compare to H-fac, gen and gf top to bottom)
Nice blue lit digital dial with time, date and stopwatch function.
So... There you go. Not a super rep or nwbig, but definitely a hell of a watch for €61.
