I received a refund of $450.00
Never gonna wear this watch but whatever.... $200.00 learing experience.
Here is goes.... (should have posted in No flame zone... damnit!) my contact is a girl on Alibaba.... yes yes I know... but I have been dealing with her for several years and she has always taken really food care of me. She refunded $450. of the $650. I paid.
I believe her when she says she was scammed. Watch had all the correct sticker and ring protector on it and she does not usually deal in watches.
She has been a very good contact on leather bags and shoes. So I am relieved that she made it right... not just because of the money.

Americans scam each other all the time. I imagine that scamming and thieving within one’s culture/nationality/ethnicity isn’t unique.

If you’re not going to wear it, put it up for sale on the marketplace (with full disclosure). I’ll bet there is someone who will be happy to pay $200 for it.
