Does anyone know if these guys would change a Date wheel on an AP rep or is that very specialised ?

marrickville will be able to sort you out. He just changed my AP datewheel a week back and he did great job with it. He's very prompt with responding and shows proof of work during the process. Hope that helps!

Shout out to marrickville for swapping out date wheels on 2 of my GMT frankens (one with Gen Rolex movement).
Quick and timely communication / work and great results. Have used his services in past for other work also and it's been all good.
Good to have someone with skills closer to home than having to send to other side of the world!

It was a simple and quick fix and he was very happy.

I've read some good and some bad reviews and apologies to everyone whos had a bad experience here.
I've recently taken over the business approx. 2-2.5 years ago with a small team of 2-3 experienced watchmakers and we have repaired and serviced many genuine and replica watches.

I highly recommend going to Ray BLK.W.EXPRESS at Blacktown Watch Express. Went there last week with a broken Rolarai with 6497 movement and Ray checked it out while I waited and gave me a quote for the fix. Upon further discussion on the whole movement price against fixing the current one, he recommended for me to go with a new movement. Refused to charge me for checking the watch(opening and diagnosing a broken wheel stem with pics). Quite professional and have a thirst for knowledge on this wonderful world of high-end reps. Also noticed that he's got more or less all the tools of the trade including pressure tester as well.
