The lume on the RGRC is pathetic. Let's be honest. It's the same on all AP's. If I keep it, I will have the dial relumed. That's the one disappointment about the watch. The same happened to me with my Rubberclad. There are some reps that have amazing lume out of the box. This is not one of them.

There are many reps right now that have great lume. The one that comes to mind is the 127. That thing shines like a torch. You can make any watch seem like it has good lume with pictures. If hold your RGRC to a lamp for 30 seconds and snap a pic, it will look good. The reality is that 10 seconds later the lume is dead. That's why many people get them relumed. I'm trying to see if I can get Strodda to do his magic on my RGRC. Once I decide if I am keeping it.

Whenever you just receive a new watch, remember it's been idle in transit and hasn't been working for a while so it's advisable to just give it a good wind clockwise (pull out the crown and manually wind it) for a good amount of time before actually setting the time and then wearing it. Regards
