Anyone want to do a rep versus gen analysis?

Will decide between the two J12's when I see better pics....

Ryan's are a little to overexposed to see the tachy and sub dials properly

Yeah definitely loving this one, but the dial is what makes this so special - TD photos are never good for any real life analysis, so if anyone picks one of these up and does some wristies it would be very helpful. Does sharkey buy these and M2M them the next day usually?

I wish Toro would stop confusing people ...why does he keep saying ZF? when its J12
isnt ZF the guys that do the PAM 382 v1/v2/v3

I can understand why Toro says Z instead of J12. There are legitimate reasons for this. The two work together very closely.

Man, won't they stop releasing new AP watches? Would anyone care to guess if this watch could reach the US by next Saturday (Dec 6th) if ordered right away? I just tried to buy a few watches from Ken, but he wouldn't garantee delivery in such a tight schedule. I want one of these ceramic, 44mm APROO IMMEDIATELY!!!

Not possible by Saturday. Maybe next Thursday. But with holidays now may take longer, but this is nothing Ken has control over. Ken can get you a great watch at a great price and fast, but you have to be patient on the shipping. I know it sucks but it's part of the hobby bro!

Alternatively, a good soul could sell me their Schumi and then order a replacement...

They actually did quite well on this rep. The gen is yet not out in the shops (at least in Europe), I asked the AP sales manager EU some weeks ago when I visited their HQ ...anyway, I had the chance to hold this watch as a gen during SIHH early this year and if my memory serves me right, this rep and dial color is well performed. The gen dial looked different from any angle, goes from black to light silver depending on light.
If my dealer comes up with this, I will jump the train.

Haha. Right off the bat, the subdial hand base is supposed to be metal silver, not black.

That said, I'm digging the grey one. Hopefully the grey has metallic effect. Thinking of it on a Schumi xs strap. Might look good.
