I agree, nothing wrong with with the movement- which would actually make me feel more comfortable with its reliability. I'm not a leather strap kinda guy, so I'd look at a rubber strap instead. Those screw heads look to be the best I've seen so far with no gaps. :)

I do not know this particular watch, but generally rep-leather straps are terrible and really let the watch down. This is very difficult to capture on a photo but very noticable when wearing the watch.

The problem is that getting an odd shape strap for this kind of watch can be very costly.

Hopefully this watch is not like that, but I have yet to come across a decent leather rep-strap and would recommend you to go for a steel or rubber version simply because they (in general) are so much better made. Or be prepared to pay a lot for a new strap.
