Love the "Scarface" motif in that photo above. I actually think Ginza should be paired with what AP selected: black croc with blakc stitching or the rubber. Nothing else. AP knows the best combinations.

Gave him a gen photos with croc strap to mimic the pattern.

Fyi, the majority of AP strap pics in ANALOG website, especially AP models that has a decent rep, if you look closely, are rep. Couple of them are mine, and some from my friends as well.
So, yes - he can make straps that will fit perfectly for both Noob and Jf models. You just need to tell him which. He also sources his own inserts for ap straps for a additional fee of usd 45 or so, so that you won't have to send him a rep strap to use its insert.

His attention to detail and pure craftmenship is second to none - because of that, his lead time is always long, as long as 8 weeks. But it's worth the wait.
He also offers inner lining of the strap as rubber, so that you won't have to worry about sweating can ruin your inner lining if it is made of leather. That's what I did for this Ginza strap.

What are some of the glaring issues (if any) that still need correcting or things to look out for when QC'ing on this particular one (aside from the standard stuff).

Yes that's the most current version on Toro's site there.
The newest version should have a decorated movement and the corrected smaller diamond 7 on the dial.
As for flaws, unfortunately the newest version seems to have a gold AP logo unlike the gen and V1 which is silver. Of course there's the incorrect date font and sometimes the lume in the numbers is pock marked.
But overall, it's an amazing rep!

I agree. Got a Santos strap from him. Looks great and strap is mailed in nice leather case. I use the case as a travel case for my Panerai.
Can any Ginza owners comment on the movement and the reliability? Thinking of second at 12.
Also it does look pretty thick. 16mm. Doesn't it feel a bit too much for owners?

I am not a Ginza owner.
But I believe that the movement is as reliable as anyother JF ROO with A7750.
And for the second point since it a FC case with Ceramic bezel. The watch is much lighter than SS ROOs. I know this because I own a Bumble Bee and RGRC so I can compare the weight. And the thickness cannot be altered without going franken and I think FC case cannot be milled to gen thickness anyways.
I agree with Master Watch. The discomfort created by the extra thickness is largely overcome by the lightness of the material with a FC or Ti case.
