I am tempted to buy it as a vehicle for further modification, but there are so many other models I want more...

What would you do to mod it? It seems like way too much - My 2014 safari on the other hand there isn't that much if I can live with the tachy color and perhaps a gen tachy will be available at some point if it fits.

The QE11 is a well made watch, shame about the DLC colour but still very nice. The lume looks good by eye but is a little sloppy under a lupe so no problem. Love the miyota movt. It has good power reserve and does look good. Well recommended watch

SMP lover, it's being made & won't get it for a while so am using rep strap which is bedding in now, but did get scratched up from the buckel while the leather was new & stiff. Not going to make any other changes as is really good out of the box
