What i think? They took the V1 apart and put a new 7 on it. For the rest the same watch. Might pick this one up
But they dont have movement plating so a bummer. That would be the icing on the cake
Sharp eye, tinitonsi. One of the few ROOs without tapisserie dial pattern. The lacquer fills on the numerals of the Ginza 7 still have these pocks and holes for some reason. But good that they fixed the over-sized 7. I do not think they were selling many of this model before.

yes, it's a shame about the numerals. It looks as though they were trying to paint it with a dried up brush!
I wonder if JF can fit the movement plate into these older models without making the case backs taller. I do not think so.

Hmm that's a good point. Maybe [MENTION=2079]zorro[/MENTION] or [MENTION=42676]jamztio[/MENTION] with dissected FCGP can give us more insight how much thickness does the deco plates adds to the A7750.
So J12 made a taller case for the new GPs? I was under the impression they managed to maintain the height...

I heard people installed movement plates in their noob GPs so I assume it can be done on the 42mm models. Strange that they don't offer the black leather strap like you see on Instagram sites and other websites. Either way, I'll be passing, waiting on better models. Sorry JF, you blew it he first time and I ain't buying now lol

Thanks for the clarification.
1. Since you have both noob and JF is there any difference in hight of the case back/midcase/whole profile?
2. My initial thought was they incorporated the function of that part marked in your photo into the decorated plate to avoid additional thickness.
3. Wondering TD's can source/sell the deco plates separately for all the previous models with open case back. Probably just a hopeful thinking but would be awesome if they did.
JF GP caseback is flatter and wider than Noob so JF caseback can't be fitted on Noob GP as the caseback screw holes don't align together. Noob caseback has more dome like center. Not sure about the mid case though. I don't have JF GP with me now since I'm on a trip.

Too bad you have to swap the automatic devices bridge to mount the deco plate on the Noob: that bridge is very difficult to mount. Here is a text explaining the difficulty.
