Hi,

Any dealers know when a 2nd gen may come out for the Breitling Bentley GT? I really like the 1st gen but after reading the reviews, I think the uncrossed "t" may drive me crazy.

Also, does anyone know where to get breitling spare parts? I don't think Ofrei sells them.
Just building up resources to build an accurate Bentley with swiss mov't, accurate day/date font when I get one.

Thanks in advance.

I seriously doubt there will ever be another generation of Bentley GT. My guess it will just sell out and slowly disappear like the Ti Seawolf.

I could be wrong though.

which of the Brietling replicas out there do you think is the most accurate? I've heard a mix of the Navitimer and the Bentley, but judging by your excellent write up, I think you're the right person to ask.

Thanks. :D

No definite answer there. Like I said in the Breitling guide all 6-7 best Breitling reps are very accurate. Some people consider some "flaws" worse than others.

Wow! Gorgeous watch, but a little bit more than what I was willing to pay for a replica. Unless of course its 99.999% identical to the real thing.

99%? That is pretty good. Do you think its worth the upgrade to swiss? And does anyone in
the forum have this exact watch that I can maybe get some feedback on.

Thanks again guys for your help! [smilie=wav.gif]

In my opinion no the swiss is not worth $620 upgrade. You can source the movement for under $350, and for an additional $200 you can have it freshly serviced. And if you plan to replace the movement with swiss you might as well buy used, and they regularly go for under $200. If you purchase an older non 28.8k model the case is the same (except polished instead of brushed), and you can reuse your chrono hand and it will be even cheaper on the used market.

edit - for clarification..
Buy a USED ASIAN NAVITIMER (using high numbers)
Used Navitimer - $200
ETA 7750 New - $350
Service and Dial Swap - $200
Case Brush - $50.00
$800.00 - Better then new swiss ETA Navitimer fighters edition, should be good for the next 5 years.

Good points. You have to get a 6-9-12 Navi with the older movement to be upgradeable. This model accepts genuine movement, genuine dial, and hands are interchangeable. Having the case brushed wouldn't be too difficult either.

These things add up though.

Watch = $250
Swiss movement = $200
Servicing = $200
Case refinishing = ???
Shipping to have all these mods done = ???

Can you find ETA Valjoux 7750 for only $200? :shock:

Reread my post, i said if you are replacing it with a swiss eta 7750 you can easily pick up a navitimer for under $200... not a swiss navitimer.

who carries the best navitimer serie speciale with asian mov't at the moment? I've heard good reviews of Ruby's. Also, is the a difference in quality and accuary of the white vs. black dial?? Such as slide rule and date misalignment?

Most dealers carry the Serie Speciale, but IMHO it is one of the easiest to spot reps because the casing is polished and should be brushed. This is probably the most accurate of the "Non Swiss" versions...

http://perfect-clones.com/bl10047-navit ... -1890.html

Although it is labeled incorrectly as "Serie Speciale" it is in fact an "Old Navitimer". The asian 7750 in the 6-9-12 config allows for an accurate date wheel, and the dial is very accurate. The only flaw on this one is that the caseback product code 23322 refers to the 3-6-9 (7753) navitimer. I'm not 100% certain what the Old Navitimer caseback looked like, so it may be completely wrong. Also, this version is only available in two-tone.

Thanks andreww. so inyour opinion of the whole breitling line, which do you think is closest to the real thing? The Bentley GT?
