Hello,

It is mentioned on the website http://www.asian7750.com/cn/index.asp that they accept credit card online payment.

When I tried checking it by putting an item in cart and checking out, it takes me to another payment website https://security.sslepay.com for entering credit card details and address info.

This payment website looked a bit primitive to me. So I want to know the experience of others and reliability and security in credit card payment.

Has anyone else done any purchase from Asian 7750 using online credit card payment and has been delivered with the order safely and accurately.

Has the credit card information still kept on being safe from prying eavesdroppers.

Thanks for your responses.

It's on a HTTPS (Secured connection) , if it says Verisafe and has any other certificates make sure you check with the actual certificate issuers.

Well Soren and Kaniel,

Would be great if I ask you guys

  1. Which payment method did you use?
  2. Which country you ordering from and which courier service was used to deliver.?
  3. After how many days of payment tony shipped the watch? How many days in transit to reach your country?
  4. Did you ask or did tony himself send you any QC pictures.?
  5. Did you ask or is it necessary or done automatically, that tony does any servicing or adjustment of the 7750 movement for accuracy and precision? I am planning to buy Tag Calibre 16 Day Date and IWC Flieger Chronograph 3717. Any advice for any servicing required for these models.
  6. What is mentioned on the purchase invoice along with the parcel. Is it mentioned as sample or replica, also what value is mentioned on the invoice, the full amount or reduced price. I am asking to avoid hassle with custom regulations and paying extra customs duty on parcel.?
  7. What amount of customs duty did you have to pay on receiving your parcels.?
  8. Did the watches come in any type of regular or custom boxes. Is there any automatic winding box also available from tony. (Used when the watch is not worn)

Thanks a lot for your responses and advice to help me make the purchase.

Mate, too many questions some of which are NOYB and most of the rest you could (and should) answer by doing a bit of homework here (ie: reading). the rest would be best answered by Tony altho seriously if you need that much hand holding this may not be the hobby for you.

What fire, exactly? Tony is a trusted dealer here, if you don't understand what that implies you need to spend some more time reading and chatting to folk before buying any damn thing. Web sites go down all the time especially if you are selling illegal goods.

Well i have done quite some reading here and there and have been thru the watch and dealer reviews. Tony is not only serving me and would have hundreds of queries to answer.

So i just thought it would be better to ask at once to the old customers who have done business with tony, about all the stray questions. Some might already be on the forum, however I might have overlooked. Such queries would not only be good for me, but for the community and new buyers in general, i see no harm if someone is already willing to help.

Surely its a budding hobby, and I might need some personal mentoring to get to know the ropes from this excellent community forum.

As for this:

Just clearing my doubts, we do always take suggestion from peers and fellow forum members about the authenticity of any products. It does happen in real life too, even for some of the trusted products and multinational brand names. It is not to defame or taint anyone's reputation on the forum.

Hope i sound much clear now.

Thanks

First of all welcome in RWi..
I hope you will find what are you looking for..
Try and search by yourself in the forums..
It is better this way since many times you may have different opinion than the other members..
Patience and searching are the best you can do with this hobby

Ok.. I'll try to help you by answering some of your questions so you will calm down and be patient.

1- Paypal . (never ever put anything about "rep watch", the model or something on paypal when making the payment... ).

2- Spain.

3- About 3-4 days after payment recieved. But sometimes can take a little more... Note that the dealer has to look for the watch for you... sometimes he has to wait some days for the maker to send him the watches etc.. So be patient my friend.

4- Normally he sends QC pics without asking... But if you want to be sure ask him. He is a nice guy and a great TD...

5- Tony makes a QC before shipping.. But QC is not servicing or adjusting the movement.. He just checks that the watch is working correctly.
But if you want to be sure about the movement you better lookf for a good local watchsmith who can service the movement of your watch... Or look for the watsmiths on the forum and ask them to service the movements.

6- All TD here have enough experience with customs in any country... . He knows what to do.

7- Well.. If customs catch your REPLICA WATCH... I don't think you will have to worry about duty fees... lol

8- Watches come securely package so they don't suffer any damage during the shipping.
Advice: Forget about winders... If you want your watch and movement to be working without enjoying it just send me the watch and I will wear it for you lol. If you don't wear the watch just wind it or shake it 5 minutes once or twice a month and movement will be ok. Not so difficult.. There's people that shake other thing 30 minutes every day and they can live with it.............. So you can shake your watch 5-10 minutes twice a month to keep the movement running with no issues.

Anything else?

Thank you very much Kaniel for all the answers.

Just for information I asked tony and he said he would mention the parcel invoice with the description of "Timer" with a value of 15 USD , so as to minimize the customs duty based on the value of the goods imported.

Hmm..if what you mean and what I understand is the same, then all kudos to the shakers, although they might live longer if they shake the watch only ;-).

Thanks.
