Asian 21J vs Swiss ETA GMT Master II Video

I did a very quick video of the 2.
The A21j is on the left and the ETA is on the right.
Both from TS the 21j turned up with the second hand loose but I fixed that.

Funny how we can tell this at a glance but the vast majority of people get confused when we try to explain the difference between automatic, hand wind, and quartz!!

wow the swiss one looks just like a rolex movement to me. the 21j is such a great value. i just bought one and i really like it. for me i just can't seem to spend the extra yet. maybe later...

Oh.. Just noticed.. The 21j is just a tad more jittery..

yep - considering most people wont notice wat brand you are wearing, and then if they do, dont know wat model it is, and then even then wouldnt notice a 6beatper second or 8 beat per second (or even 1 beat per second!!!!)

I can definitely tell the difference but it's not as pronounced as I thought it was before seeing the video. I expected a bigger difference.

I am very surprised to see the difference isn't that huge! I was expected a very stuttered A21j but the sweep is very similar. Excellent video!

Asian 21J Movement

It seems like the Asian 21J engine is improving lately ... it has always been a "workhorse" movt, but the sweep seems a little bit smoother over the past year or so IMO ..... any comments?

The 21j seems the same as the ones I had a year or two ago.
