Yet another arrival at my front door, ordered last week from Sead's EU stock and shipped almost at "Amazon-speed" (TM). My wife's already wondering how many parcels are flying in from the UK. Back on topic, I unpacked this beauty a few minutes ago and couldn't be happier. First of all, Sead's QC is very good and he picked a nice specimen, everything is in its place and runs fine out of the box.
ARF really sells an amazing rep at this price point, the build quality is awesome and what you don't see on most pictures: that thing blings like a Casino entrance. Bracelet feels very nice without oil bath already, clasp opens with a solid click, bezel rotation also sounds really good. The polished and brushed surfaces look good, also really close up. Dial print could be a tiny bit sharper and more even, datewheel print is a little fuzzy, not visible with the naked eye though. Hands and markers are nicely polished, can't imagine how this could be done better even for two times the price. Bezel number/marker paint(?) looks good and more or less even, but probably not on gen level (don't have one for comparison at hand). Bezel insert is a liiiittle off counter-clockwise, but not really critical in my eyes. SELs look good from my point of view, although I'm not 100% sure if they should sit a little deeper against the lug. The "GENEVA" engraving on the clasp is a little wonky, but I don't stare at the open thing all day. Rehaut engraving is aligned and looks good even close up. That's my opinion so far, here's a bunch of images for your entertainment...
