I think that is the older bezel teeth, the other referance point is the distance from the insert to the edge of the cut as in the pearl photo.

ok, looked to me like the updated bezelteeth but i might be wrong.

Could you tell me whats your opinion on the bezelteeth here please.

New. Old bezel teeth had the points the same thickness as the second markers on the bezel, new one has the thickness the same as the thick stroke of the bezel numbers - with a fair bit of variation.

I think there is some variation on whats around and in some lighting conditions they look differant for the same watch. the photo above appears to be some where in the middle. They are all not quite the same as the gen, if you look at the pearl photo you will see the differance. I'll take some more photos as soon as Angus can find an updated/improved version.
I'll take some more measurements of the cyclops size and curvature also.

Good enough. V1 was good enough. You dont see it on the wrist.

Exactly, you can't tell on the wrist and it's still one of the best if not the best sports model Rolex rep made.

Agreed.

I've swapped emails with my 2 TD's who said they have even started giving out refunds on this watch because folks are complaining too much about it. 'Can you get one with wider teeth, is this a v1, v2, v3, take the back off for a movement pic, rehaut is off, crown position is too high, is there an updated version with correct coronet on the clasp, etc.'. People expecting a Gen spec watch for $450. It's slowing down the whole process for everybody.

This is the best Ootb Rolex rep available. Maybe the JF 16600 is on par, but I think the SD43 is better.

This is a little unfortunate as the factory bring in changes and don't really label updates as V1, V2 etc. it's certain dealers that give these labels and all the noobs get fixated on small details, trying to get the perfect example. It would not surprise me that now the maker is concentrating on the subs these will sell out and when a new batch is made it may have some of the fundermentals wrong that are currently very good (as noob sub v6s/v7/v8 etc.) the case set, insert, bracelet, sel, dial and hands are all very good. The new members today don't realize how lucky they are!

It has the updated date wheel and no real Qc issues Marco, it appears however to have the pointy bezel teeth but the update to the bezel is not fully established as a V number update yet.

What you think about the datewheel on this one, i think magnification and font looks very good.

Looks great. Why do you keep posting QC pics asking for opinions?

i know, These are my own qc pics, will let the dealer know i approve. Just wanted to make absolutely shure the datewheel was ok.

I am , just told Lucy that I approve of the QC pics. Now the long wait untill i receive the watch in the mail :D

What was the wait like with Lucy from order to QC? She's just taken my order for the ARF sub - she said there's a 1-2 week backlog from the factory at the moment.
I'm fine with it - I just got my SD43 back from having the the hands re-set properly so I can finally enjoy that for a while - I ordered it on March 11.

I'd post pics of it but i keep getting this dumbshit message from the forum - file i tried to upload is 42k...
