ARF SD43 126600 Seadweller V4

Hi RWI, first post!

I was browsing TrustyTime’s website and I see there’s a listing for an ARF SD43 V4. From what I’ve read, the V3 is very highly regarded. Anybody have an idea of what the V4 is? I haven’t been able to find much info on it. Thanks!

Hello and welcome. The only change on the V4 ARF is the MK2 dial with coronet at 6:00. Hope this helps.

I too am interested in this model to replace my inferior, 3 year old low grade, noob version.
Is the MK2 dial closer to gen in finish and color?

I haven’t had the V4 dial, but have had the very first ARF in 2017 and every version to V3. All the ARF dials turned matte or little brown in direct sun, close to the gen. From what I’ve seen the V4 dial has the same finish.

I would wait 'til the 126660 with the Cameron dial comes out. That would be the ultimate Sub in my book.

The dial and hands on the Noobs are better. The ARF lume is way too white, and the dial is too shiny.

That’s a completely different watch which is quite difficult to wear. Neither are Subs.

Can someone confirm if the dial color on ARF V4 is comparable to XF 126600? Contemplating buying the V4 since XF is pretty much impossible to find. I just don't want another ARF with shiny non gen spec dial. Thanks for your help!

Oh good lord, do i have to buy a sd43 again!? Sold it twice already and every now and then i stumble upon a thread thats makes me want one again. What is wrong with me?

To the thread starter: the ARF is a great watch - get it and enjoy it. Sure thing, you could mix noob/arf parts or get a xf - but really, the stock ARF is one premium watch.

(I used to own a stock arf and a noob/arf mashup and i loved both)
