I just don't see the reason behind the A7750, since subdials are frozen. Why not just improving the 23j? It's all marketing. I wouldn't ever pay that premium for only 904L. You can't even notice the difference, what you notice is different brushing.

Anyway, there's a saying "in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king".

P.S. some say that only the case is 904 and the bracelet is in fact 316.

This I'm curious about. I believe @2fake4u plans on having it tested. Personally, I cannot see the difference between the 316 and 904 as has been said by others. The only real advantage is it's more corrosion resistant and a tad bit harder. It'll be interesting...definitely I'd go this route vs a 4130 clone movement (It they ever release it) if I was in the market for one.

In all my time dealing with metals i was never able to tell 304 from 316 or 904 just by looking at the thing ) you can obviously tell copper alloys for ex. but not nickel ones.

904 has more Mo and Ni and 1%Cu so it might have a slightly diffrent color but honestly who cares.

I'm ordering daytona tomorrow.

I was thinking about getting JJF VC Overseas on bracelet but they will go for $420 - $458 and that's a watch with miyota movement and 316L. I rather spend that money on new Daytona than on JJF VC Overseas with the bracelet.

Do you guys think there is space to shorten the rehaut about 0,2mm less?
If yes, and of course if some maker is gonna offer a no deco version of the watch(other 0,3 mm less or so),
We end having a replica wich is just 0,4 mm thicker than the gen

Don't spread false statements regarding TDs. Unless you're willing to refund the member who believes you in case the TD does not actually do what you allege.

904L marketing is just bs

It's certainly marketing, just not sure it's BS (unless another member gets it tested at an independent laboratory and it comes out as another steel alloy). It's not like 904L steel comes from a single supplier who supplies exclusively to Rolex.
