ARF Pepsi V3 review

My ARF V3 arrived a couple days ago. Great watch

I think that now ARF is better than clean on GMTs, except the movement

I have the Pepsi from Clean, with Gen xtal and Lipmod looks amazing, but stock ARF looks better than stock clean IMO.

I just ordered both clean and ARF batgirl to compare, as a good friend owns the Gen I will have the possibility to compare next to it.

How is bezel action on these ones? If they've resolved that issue, then ARF is superior. I will pick up a Batman ARF if that is the case.

The bezel action on ARF is better then CF, but gen is gen and feels different.

sick pics. how is the date mag out of the box on this? with the superior xtal and seemingly correct gasket size this is a much better value proposition than a modded clean?

I don‘t think so. Sofar nor problems and over 70 h power reserve. I will buy the GRNR with gain weight.

One observation I will make is the bezel lip isn't as big on the ARF. However this crystal IMO is much better than Clean (pictures are ARF on oyster, old Clean on jubilee)

Having owned both ARF and Clean (Pepsi & Batmans), one other small difference that I’m not sure if anyone has also noticed, is that the ARF lugs are slightly slimmer (and I mean ever so slightly) compared to Clean. It’s as if Clean are still using the older 116710 shape (it was exactly the same case as a CF Hulk 116610 that I had), whereas ARF taper down similar to a 126110 Sub (though not as aggressive).

Annoyingly I didn’t take any comparison photos while I had both factories in hand, but I’d be interested if anyone else still has both to verify my two cents

My friend has an ARF Bruce Wayne. The movement has problems and now needs replacing (hands now catching date window).

Does anyone know of an alternative movement that could be utilised in this usage case, aside from a replacement SH3285?

I was set on going with Clean for a while, but after having spoken to some folks with first hand accounts of handling & owning both, reading some reviews and doing research, I'm pretty set on going with ARF. Especially because my own experiences with Clean hasn't been the best (constant crown thread issues, date wheel issues on almost every clean watch I received, etc.). Maybe it's been my bad luck but the consistency of flaws I've received from Clean watches versus other factories (BTF, VSF, ZF) is too much.

I will be sure to share photos here once I receive my ARF Pepsi. Might not be for a while since I'm travelling internationally soon.

My Pepsi is still running very good after 5 month. It is running about 1-2 sec in plus every day. The watch is on a watchwinder or on my wrist. No issues so far.
