Guess is safe to say most if not all of us want the gold tone to be as close to the gen TT. Looking at the comparison is the VRF that more orange gold in real life or is the picture that much more saturated than it really is? I'm trying to build a nice one, possible gen xtal, dial, dw , maybe spongebob insert. Wonder how much that's gonna cost me?

You need hands too , dead giveaway if you have seen gen, otherwise the dial would be a waste imo

Hi, i am looking between Noob and VRF 18k wrapped gold. Price is the same and my dealer recommend Noob, but I saw the color of the gold and it's too light. And VR factory in my opinion looks like Gipsy gold, reddish and darker. Is it possible that Noob version with use will a little darker ?

I wouldn't count on that. If anything these models tend to look lighter after use due to the constant wiping you need to do to keep them from tarnishing or spotting from sweat and other contaminants.

Just received a JF 2836 this morning. So far I like it. Gold is darker than Noob but not orangey. SEL sides are not covered, tbh it doesn't bother me but I will probably touch it up somehow if I keep the watch.

It's weird, I sent a link to my TD for this 2836 watch version and now I can't find it listed as available anywhere. All the usual sites have taken this model down. JF has always been predominantly SH3135 oriented. So maybe this is a leftover IDK. It's a nice sample though, I would never have tried it if it was 3135 I'm strictly an ETA guy. The DW is nicer on the ETA IMO.

I was never able to try a Noob as I rejected them til my TD wasn't willing to show me any more.

Both your JF look awesome.

I have a JF bluesy, bought m2m. Based on what I read on bluesy threads here and repgreek, JF insert and dial is very great. The sunburst is amazing. The black hole of crystal is decent, may be 80% of prof crystal.

However, the bracelet is plated, naked sel and side middle link. And I cannot stand for the ugly fat font......

I ordered a wrapped TT GMF bracelet from a TD and bought a much better DW. I will post some pictures after I received the part. Wish me luck that I will get a nice modded JF bluesy.

I think they are passing of these bp/gmf 116613 as the same and charging different prices. Here is some pics of the one a recently had. Looks the same. Same bracelet clasp codes and stickers as the wrapped/thick wrapped/plated. All are plated on the sides of the sels. All marketing as far as I’m concerned to make more money on the same watch.

Different dials for sure , so I dont know if they are the same watches , the BP just has that gen look about it too on those photos, Shame about the rehaut as that dial looks stunning and even date cyclops ar looks pretty decent on those QC pics from KJ
