I am a newbie but i think that isn‘t a problem or is it?Everywhere out there are newbies. And most of us are starting as a newbie. We are all here to exchange our experience and knowledge to get better and help each other.

dicat1010 it is genuine datejust 2 crystal that i use

and there is also another v. but without black hole and its not genuine but with same 2.5x

i think it is Enough and I don’t need to change the date wheel.
i can see the font Little bit thick but nobody will figure out.

Yes there was tow datewheels but i did not remove any thing... they used glue between them

i try to fix the overlay datewheel from Ebay but he said it could touch the dial if he fix it above of them and the problem is that overlay datewheel I purchased is with out teeth so i cannot fix it alone

so i do not know from where i which datewheel will fix the AR 2824 datejust with correct font size

I was told by other modders the Asian (ETA) 2824 models cannot be modded with gen date wheel as will not fit.

Nayef where did you get your gen crystal for Datejust 41? Do you have part# or custom made?

Dont get me wrong. I dont have a problem with newbies. It just amuses me when they post a photo of their DW with an Overlay and think the factories knocked them off by giving them sub standard products.

Yes they can but the Datewheel needs to be sanded and used as an overlay

i use aftermarket datewheel without theeth
the first one is for 2824
the second is for Noob submariner 3135 v9 ( It fit )
but i do not know how i fix it on the 2824 movement with tow datewheels Already

So the crystal for a Datejust II is the same as for a Datejust 41?
