You missed thread bro

I've read every page of this thread. I realize that the consensus is that the ARF DJII is a great rep. I was just curious if anyone knew anything about the YG version in the link because I really like the color combination.

Cheers

For those wondering about the crown stiffness, I haven't had my hands on a ARF yet but my wife's gen datejust ( new model ) is very stiff when winding and setting time, almost making tit super hard to do, again I dont know yet how it compares to ARF, but I will soon since I am getting it just now and will let you guys know

Ok friend compare it then and can you check for me clasp on gen? When you close clasp and when you try to move it with fingers or press with finger is it a little loose or is it super tight and cant even move it

Mine has arrived today. Will take some pictures with natural light the next days.
On the first look the watch looks fine. Nice finish and polish with the stainless steel. Grey dial with sunburst looks great! SEL‘s are okey but with a closer look i see a very small distance between watch and bracelet.
The most sad thing for me is the cyclops and its alignment. Btw the antireflection of the cyclops could be much better..
On the QC pics the alignment looked good. Maybe they handled the pics with some good positions..
Datewheel is bold but that is nothing new.
Pictures coming soon guys

Wow! That's not exactly a ringing endorsement of the watch at all. :/

Yes but don‘t forget it is a replica. IMO the datewheel tells it all for someone who is interested in watches, specially in rolex watches. All other attributes of the watch are really close to the gen. If i could change something it would be the glas, cyclops and also the datewheel.
So my advice for all of you guys. Always check exactly the QC pictures. Also I think for every order there must be a little bit of luck to get some good pieces.

For me the most obvious difference is SELs and lugs shapes on all replicas...sharpness of lugs and SELs fitment is another story on gens

Maybe. But on your wrist nobody will recognize the flaws of SEL and lug shape of your watch with first look. Only with a closer look on the watch somebody will recognize. But like i said, a bad cyclops and datewheel together tells it all for the first look.

It could be the dial angle and not the cyclop. Try rotate the the dial and see if date window gets aligned with cyclop.

That could be possible. But the alignment of the dial seems to be at the right position. It looks like the cyclops alignment isn‘t right. But i can live with it.. the bold DW is for me the bigger problem..

I just ordered a GEN 3235 DW but a lot of mixed comments saying it works and others saying it doesnt... Now my challenge is to find a modder willing to take on the project, preferably in U.S

I would have never ordered a date wheel or date wheel overlay (DWO) unless I was 100 percent certain that it fits. Best of luck.
