What do you think? How is it like compared to gen?
Do you think the blue and rhodium are closer to gen and that's why no one buys this or is it just because it's a less popular model? (in which case less people IRL will have it and you're less likely to have someone try compare their gen with your rep)

well thats what ive said, the SEL's on oyster and the case is what iam talking about.
Maybe on jubilee it could look better

I agree with this, i had dinner with my friend last night he just got a Gen 116610, I wore my ARF sub with Gen DW mod and prix xtal. we were having a good look, small Differences in lugs and crown guards etc are actually very hard to notice even with both watches together. It’s all negligible to the eye. You have to have both watches on top of each other and up close to the eye and sometimes you think “Am I Seeing that or is it light reflection” it’s that hard to see at eye distance comparing both watches together in the same hands even when you know what to look for
It made me realise that, while its good to know and see the differences (to get improvements) they are so small in reality, that obsessions over them is not worth it.
That said, some More obvious details like an ARF date font and cyclops we would have spotted right away with both together. Case lugs I would not worry.
If you looked in enough detail you could probably spot minute differences in gens.

Wait till your Gen has its first re finish/polish and all these edges get softened. A lot of these details on the reps could be put down to something. They are reps afterall

How many days do you wait? Im waiting too for blue dial oyster bracelet ... i payed 8 days ago
I was told by my TD that arf are finishing off production of the first batch of jubilee watches. So essentially a pre order. I wouldn't be too worried just yet

You are right, a less popular option than others , I still like this model with a jubilee bracelet.
I have seen the gen on the AD, in this particular case the dial is pretty spot on in term of shade.
I like the blue one also but it seem reading here that is a different shade of blue compared to the original.
One thing in particular with this model, need a rebrush and polish, the softness of the gen is not here, the bracelet feel very rough.
