ARF 126334 DateJust 41, Best in the market

Hi guys,

The new datejust releases are pretty good. I’m on the fence of purchasing these. Currently I’m thinking of this watch with black(rhodium) dial - or the DJF 36mm one with silver dial.

If I’m correct the DJF is better out of the box because it has correct date, but can’t be upgraded with gen parts.

The ARF 40mm rhodium is more upgradeable with gen parts, but doesn’t have gen parts availability.

Is my assessment correct? How good is this 40mm out of the Box? And is the DJF that good out of the box?

I think it depends on how big your wrists are. The DJF whilst having better font is still not roulette (red and black alternating), hence youd need to change the DW anyways to be "like gen".
If your wrists can handle it and you like the oyster, I say go for 41.

Personally I am waiting for a jubilee version, and ARF can have my monies then

Question, since these are running the ETA 2824, am I able to install a gen 2824 in the case and will a gen date wheel fit in a 2824 movement?

OK guys, so someone in my thread; HERE recons he has seen an ARF 41mm with Jubilee. Can anyone else confirm this? Im desperate to pull the trigger on an ARF 41mm grey, but really want the jubilee bracelet. I'll wait if it's only going to be a few weeks, but not months...

On Puretime.IO they previewed the ARF DJ41 with pictures with the jubilee bracelet on the watch. It will come out eventually, hopefully alongside a better movement and a proper date wheel.

does anyone know of it comes with a 904L oyster bracelet? and how comparable it is to gen? the 316 i have on mine now just doesnt have that same color/luster

That was an REF jubilee, not ARF


- Does anyone know when silver dials coming out?
- Does anyone else think the date font is a bit too bold?

The date font is always a too bold except for the Sea Dweller and if you're lucky, some of the Submariner.

Yes but they were saying that the date font would be corrected, so who knows ????

if a fake 2824 fits then a gen 2824 will fit. HOWEVER, i hear the date change is not instant on the 2824.... but the 2836 is. same movement but has daydate i believe and instant date change like gen!

Its done on the ARF SD43, so yes, possible.
