That depends on what you mean exactly with clasp quality. It is known that the reps always have a grinding glidelock. I don't think that baby oil will fix this particular problem. You have to grind the inside of the clasp smooth for this.

If it's the closing/opening mechanism you mean then yes, baby oil can improve it a lot. Plus the feeling of the whole bracelet will be very nice and smooth

The bracelet becomes better with time. Mine feels gen like once it was broken it. Even the glide lock is smooth.

Any ideas on a better cristal widht good ciclops?

Compare the Gen with the ARF, is the crystal higher on the ARF than the Gen?

My ARF sub A2824 Just arraived.

As I own a gen, I Will try to do a comparisson in few days.
My first impression is that nobody Will realize that is not my Gen. It is a great looking watch. But I am surprised how People Here is looking for the micrometric differences on the dial that nobody Will realize ever, but very few People complain for the very poor quaility of bracelet. My 6 years old son have realized about it, so anybody owning a gen Will realized with the watch in hands.
The bracelet quaility is so poor that is even below my 300€ diver bracelet from microbands I own.

what exactly do you mean by poor quality? most people say this is the best rep bracelet and clasp at the market at the moment. have you seen the Noob v9. if yes what are your thoughts about that one

Just a quick note, get close ups pics of the pearl I’ve had 2nd qc with cracked insert under the pearl. It appears someone is assembling then wrong at the factory.

Before I get flamed I’m well aware that these pictures are blown up.

The bezel pip was the first thing I noticed when looking at all pictures. It may not be noticeable on the wrist but if it is then it will bug the hell out of me.



The SEL look very good on the non crown side at both 6 and 12.



But on the crown side don’t look good.



Maybe I’m being more picky as this is a pretty expensive otb Rep.

Mine is slightly off center aswell, receiving it tomorrow so we will see,.. If i can't stand it i hope that they can source a new bezel insert for me, would be crazy annoyed otherwise.. Maybe shouldn't had accepted it as is
