Is it me or do the engravings on the ARF look deeper than on the genuine insert? It's pretty noticeable in the second pic when you look at the triangle.

Yes they are deeper, we know that from the start.. BUT you cannot see this when on wrist, this is a blown up pic

Great pics , nice comparison. Especially on the second pic its clear to see that the gen insert nrs pop more.
I rest my case.

I intentionally produced this result to demonstrate the difference.. insert is good for the $500 rep if you ask me

Maybe it’s the angle or just being loose can gather more light.. anyway the gen bezel has different teeth finishing and should be a reason for that, more light and reflection more impressive to the eye!!

It's lighter dude - not just the scallops, you can see the highlight on the ceramic, well, not really a highlight, but it's getting more light...

Not saying there isn't a difference, but look how much more light is hitting the top of the gen bezel - the steel on the top is much brighter = more light. Also compare the 30 on the rep with the 20, 30 + 40 of the gen.

You are great ! 30 rep and 20,30,40 have the same lightning conditions and you can’t see any difference.

Sorry bad pic. It does look thick in this picture. In person, it's comparable to gen and ARF dial.

the arf is the best sub in my opinion period. i think v9 has too many issues which need modding. and ive had them both.
ive tested the arf in the pool (went for a swim) had no issues with my one

I think think the V9 with the sponge bob insert and gen Xtal is the best way to go!

He also said his Yachtmaster bezel was awesome, and it was, well... trash

I guess opinions differ, which s actually a good thing. Just imagine we‘d all agree and have no own opinion, this forum would be very quiet

My ARF is amazing (Sea-Dweller), but maybe I‘d not feel/see the difference when I have a NOOB/VRF instead, will probably need more experience.
Really looking forward to receive my one soon/next month, idk

Why do you speak of the insert spongebob?
Arf insert is perfect, why anyone will be mod stock insert arf ? Nobody would need mod arf insert, it’s the end for spongebob
