Wrong watch and wrong factory
oopsss my bad, just edited my comment so that people won't be confused XD
Wrong watch and wrong factory
I want to get one of these but the cost adds up. $450 for the watch after shipping / fees, $120-$150 for a new date wheel and $150 for service / shipping. Ends up being $700-$800. Not a lot compared to a gen model but still a pretty penny.
You're right, the bill starts to be high but for this price (about 10% of gen) you have a watch that is really close to gen (ideally a gen Crystal and a Crown + tube would make a perfect watch).
But it is also possible not to install the gen dw and not to do the service and the watch cost $450 and is not so bad (many people do not know the size of the font of a datejust) and let it work until the movement crashes then at this time make a service or order a new sh3135.
I have a v2 coming in and intend to post a lot of pictures of it when it arrives. The verdict will probably be given by many experts on the forum. Is there anyone who plans to make a review of the v2?
yes it is certain that to use the watch as soon as it arrives without doing a service is not a good investment for a long timeIf you let it go straight from the factory and it crashes, don't you risk breaking parts and it taking a long time to source them? I believe in that logic for a gen rolex, but that's only because the cost of servicing every 5 years ends up being more expensive than the extra cost that comes along with waiting 20. Plus then the parts are easier to obtain since you'll likely be going through rolex.

What dial color did you order ?
Why does everybody say arf is the best for this model? Is it just the case and bracelet? I would prefer to get the djf thats just been posted on intime, thats 904 steel, correct datewheel, correct coronet position, and not a 3135 movement that needs servicing. Also you can get a diamond dial model for $100 less than arf

Thanks for the link
Is it just me or is the Rolex crown too close and almost touching the outer rail road tracks. Is it supposed to be like that?

No one has the djf so none of these statements are known yet, minus the movement. Reheat needs to be looked at, proportions might be off, dial color might be off, no one has confirmed the type of steel, date wheel is more than likely wrong and the coronet will depend on djf's qc.
