Tacotuesday - reviving an old thread here, but I’m talking with the servicing folks rec’d On here, and I’m not sure what sort of servicing is recommended for this OP.

Is it a complete and full teardown of the movement or just sort of a partial disassembly and then lubrication of the jewel cups?

Reason I ask, is that I’m guessing the prices will be different based on the extent of servicing needed.

Thanks!

It doesn't have the annoying gap, though it still has the same click that the ARF and JF have

I have the same issue with the clasp. Anybody found a solution?

The watch looks nice and stuff but the markers on all rep dials except AC Factory (pretty new) are totaly wrong.
The markers are to big and don‘t have 45° angels like the gen.
For me it‘s an instant tell..

New UBF and ACF version have 45° angels markers.
Unfortunately the white and black face spot totally incorrect lume color being blue or even green and blue together.
Can’t post pics now but just take a look at Puretime or Intime to see what I mean.

So does that mean ARF is still a super rep compared to other factories? I am interested in getting an OP too

This is probably true.
Someone will say that the vertical space between Rolex and Oyster Perpetual is too much and the movement isn’t reliable as ETA clone is, but the most will finally appoint it as the winner.
The point here is that we have alternatives now that are better then what BP used to be, at the same price (not little difference vs ARF).
What really surprise me is how factories can make such big errors, like for example using blue markers instead of the green on the white and black dial of a watch (I’m speaking about UBF on their OP, that use the correct green on the 114200! Unbelievable).
Long story short I would go for the dark rhodium UBF with Asian eta.
I think this will be my choice! Even I prefer the white one... But really can’t think about having the dial relumed or keeping it blue..

The 114300 just looks amazing :) is there a UBF version with a blue dial too?

I will buy a 114300 39mm with blue dial in the next days.

At the moment I think I will choose the GMF manufacturer. I read that ARF has some issues with movement.

Cheers

Very nice review! Thinking of buying exactly the same one. I just have a question: is the movement self-winding automatic or hand-winding? I know it sounds stupid like question, but i ask this because i went on two different rep shopping websites and one says that its a hand-winding, and the other says self-winding...for the exact same watch and factory (Oyster Perpetual 39mm Black Dial AR factory)
please help!

Thanks for the help guys! Another question about this watch: what is the better factory for OP 39mm, gm factory or arf?
