As far as noob cheap reps are concerned, are GMT SUB AND SEA bracelets interchangable?

Yes...No...Maybe...

Lol...em...ok!

Ill explain. Im looking for a new SS sub bracelet for my daily beater but its proving hard to find. So i thought i would get a $49 sub from Aoobuy and i can steal the pearl and bracelet from that. Then i thought....well, no point buying exactly the same watch so i might get a cheapo GMT or SeaDwlr because the straps look the same.

But Im not sure if the are interchangable.

I guess I'm confused. As detailed oriented as you seem to be why would you want to cheap out and do it that way?

Just like the which is the best questions, there is no definitive answer here. They are the same but different. Not only depending on the model but when or where it was made. I have at least 7 or 8 variations in my parts box now. Are they hollow or solid. Tall or short. Straight or clipped corners. It goes on and on. Can you get another one to fit...yes. Will it be exact..maybe. Could you live with that...I don't know.

Ok Ill try and clarify further.

I want cheap because my Noob sub is cheap. It was $20 bought in china. Im guessing its similar to the aoobuy ones in terms of quality. (allthough i think its pretty damn good).

in terms of "Are they hollow or solid. Tall or short. Straight or clipped corners" None of that bothers me in the slightest. Please remember some of us aren't "in as deep" as some of you guys. i.e. don't care hugely.

Just as long as it fits the watch. Moreover the original question is the one im really wondering. On the cheapo $49 subs from aoobuy, it "looks" like the bracelet on the GMT SEA AND SUB are the same. is this the case.

Thanks. please try not to get annoyed at us noobs. It really is a fair and straight forward question. (unless you make it difficult).

Well it hlps to clarify. Your watch is a Patypong special. Not a noob anything,

No one has ever been annoyed with you. Hell I didn't even ask why you wanted to part a $50 watch onto a $20 one. If anything your pattern of questioning always seems to be the same. You want someone to give you the answer to a question that cannot be answered. Then you get upset and go on the attack.

So to keep it not 'difficult'. No one can tell you what the watch in some picture is. If we could then you could. And like the GMT you asked about before, even if we could divine the answer, the one you ordered may not be the same as the one in the year old picture. Now if you don't think the end links matter then fine. I'm sure you know far more than I do. So just go ahead and get whatever you want. Worst that can happen is you'll have to twist the springbars like a pretzel. But as you said it's a $20 watch.

Sigh, nevermind. By the way i only go "on the attack" for good reason. Tbh ive never actually seen you answer a noobs question, only dance around the topic like a politition or tell them what NOT to ask.

Im aware that you are a long standing member here, well respected and an expert (i don't use "expert" because I do truly believe that you are an expert.) So ill probably tar my name for ever by saying this but its just the way i feel. Every question I have asked on here amongst the helpful answers i get your comments that never actually answer the question and generally are comments that seem to just be to flex your expert muscles in front of the noobs.

Anyway. As i have probably offended you and everyone else ill leave now but for one more post when i get home. My friend has a rep GMT and a rep Sea dweller at home so ill come on one last time to say

Are the bracelets on the rolex sports models interchangable. YES or NO.

if it is a sub with sel's, sub, sea dweller and gmt2 bracelet should fit the case if it was a gen. being that it is a rep from a source i have never messed with i have no idea if it is made like what our dealers have. you will just have to try it. theoretically it should work.
