Bummer! Seems like an easy thing for PPF to do - just take off the diamonds and you have a really cool rep of a “vintage” Aquanaut that sells for tens of thousands these days.

Found one, now just need to get it aged…
While researching these models, I learned about the 5064, which is actually nearly identical to the above. I’ve always loved the 5067 and thought the rep was aiming to copy that, albeit poorly. Like the missing 3 on the dial. But the 5064 didn’t have the 3 either, and more importantly, the gen was quartz too! Imagine that, a 30k quartz. Makes the 7k those morons are paying for the moonswatch on eBay not seem as dumb lol. No wait, it’s still pretty dumb. Anyhoo, here’s the gen:

Looks awesome. The proportions of the case and the details on the dial look just great. Adding to that, it's a little quartz grab-and-go and goes for 280 bucks. This baby could be a real hidden gem!
Thanks for the research about the 5064. It's their second Aquanaut right after the original:
Some say it was born because Patek got desperate in the quartz crisis. I think it has it's place, but perhaps the rep actually offers the more attractive package compared to the Patek.
I would be happy if you found the time to post a small review! Or even just a line how it's holding up.
I'm not buying anything right now, otherwise I would order and post a review myself. IIRC, the version by PPF was regarded highly. No idea if JJF is related to PPF though.
anyone have any luck finding a supplier? i cannot for the life of me find anyone that has these...
