Hi all,

I lurk waayyy more than I post. Am not a watch expert by any means but do love me some watches. Bought a rep last year, a vsf hulk and love it . Since then I’ve been thinking about a next purchase. kinda wanted a blue sub but have a hard time adding another watch that is basically the same as what I have when there are so many others to try and spend time with. Been eyeing omegas and from what I’ve red, speedy reps ain’t good. No matter as I’m not a huge chrono fan.

Aqua Terra’s are nice for sure and have been eyeing a vsf gray dial with blue hands. I found one Trusted seller that has it in a rubber strap but don’t see any other sellers to have this variant, only on a bracelet. Is that normal? Is there reason for extra concern? Part of me thinks it’s wiser to order it on a bracelet and then source an aftermarket rubber strap but I really think this particular strap makes it look great and worry about aftermarket pairing up as well.

any input is greatly appreciated!

thanks

Woodz

I'm sure if you ask, most sellers would be able to source it with the strap for you. In total agreement about these looking better with the rubber straps. Have 3 Aqua Terras and when each one arrived I've immediately taken the bracelets off lol.

I have a green on bracelet, black on strap, and an Aliexpress strap for the green. The Aliexpress strap, as expected, sucks.

Buy it on bracelet and ask the dealer to source/buy the strap as well.

When I bought my black AT150, the strap came free. It was a promotion at the time.

I have the VSF AT 41mm white dial with the orange 2nd hand with the stock bracelet and also ordered at the same time the rubber strap. I then ordered a gen tan strap - so now I have 3 watches in one. You can go wrong - it’s an excellent watch - good job your in great company.

Thanks for the replies! Any issues to watch out for? I recall reading the stems were a weak point and prone to stripping but not sure if that was only an older model issue?

I think that's more of an issue on the other VSF Omega models. Just a tip, when you're screwing the crown back in, push in and turn backwards until you hear the thread engage and then screw it down.

Really love the look of this watch but hesitant only because of the 41 mm size. I have a 6.5 inch wrist or so and am afraid of getting it and feeling it’s too big on the wrist.

anybody with similar wrist size wearing it without issue?

It’s all about your comfort. I have 6.5” wrists and wear the AT150 just fine for my taste.

But my barber has a 7” wrist and likes 36-38mm. And I’ve seen guys with my size wrist with 44+mm.

The AT exists as 38mm, no?

On size, it's really about the way you wear watches. I wear mine loose on wrist so I get away with even a 44mm PAM on a 6.5cm wrist

but my current fave watch is a 36mm 1016.

I don't believe the 38 version is available today, only the 41. Although I haven't been following recently..

never paid attention to the rep offers on Omega AT. my mistake 😅
it is in the gen lineup so I just assumed it was repped

I suspect the demand is there from boy wristed enthusiasts like myself but who knows.

I hate getting sized out of a watch I like. Tried on the Bell and Ross BR03 and might as well had a grandfather clock in my wrist it looked so big. 😂

the case diameter actually is quite secondary.
If the lug to lug is 48mm approx, it fits perfect on any man's wrist

Where your daughter is
They are kind of large watches. 41 and a half I would say with a large dial rounds up more to 42+. And only a 20 mm strap makes the case head look a little large. To me. I have six and a half inch wrists and I have the old version with vertical teak pattern. Still a nice watch but it is not a small watch. These newer ones look like they wear a little smaller but not sure.
