A noob here.

I am planning to buy an Omega - Aqua Terra 150m 41mm from Steve as my next watch. Link

I am wondering, how easy is it to get a replacement movement if the one that comes with the watch breaks? Also, where could I souce one?

I kinda understand this A8900 is a modified ETA 2824. Will I be able to replace it with an ordinary Asian 2824? Also where to souece the Asian 2824 movements?

Sorry if it's a lot of questions. Hope I am not bothering you all much. Thanks 🤘

My question to you: why do you want to switch it already?

I don't wanna swap the movements anytime soon 😀
This is more or less a "what if the a8900 broke?" question. I know the simpler solution is dump it and buy a new one, but I was thinking a bit deeper. That's all
