I guess the thickness is ca. 14 mm.

He ignored that part of my request but i would guess so, looks similar to previous a7750 releases. Maybe a fraction of a mm better

But actually the watch looks quite good if we ignore the burger case. From front on it actually looks amazingly decent.

Yeah at least they got the subdials right which is an improvement when compared to the previous releases. Still not worth buying imo but its some progress

For these chronograph I'm tempted to just buy a cheap VK63 variant and get it rebrushed professionally. At least it will wear nicely.

I don’t think there will ever be a proper chrono movement for this watch, original movement is really old to be copied and not as reliable as we would like even in gen, so the only way for this would be a custom build.

VK63 stands for the Seiko VK63 movement, commonly used in the "low tier" variants of this watch. Like sub $150 range. The finishing, dial, and other details are absolutely ass on these models but they have a stable movement, nice thickness, and a professional rebrushing/polishing helps it a little bit more.

Here's a side picture of a DHGate rep of the AP26331 with a A7750 movement. Way too thick and unwearable IMO.

No it's the 7750. If you look carefully you can see a shadow on datewheel. It's sunken.

There is an Asian clone of the 7753 I think? Why not use that considering the 4 o clock date position matches?
