The key word is REPELL...........not seal and waterproof..........its just nothing but a silicone based compound .............nothing more.........again.........GEEZ !!! Using this product is like dipping your watch in a can of marine varnish !!!!

Unbelievable question indeed......

The next question from another guy would most likely be "can I blue my watch in gun-blues I can buy at the sporting goods store, duh?" or how about spraying my watch with hi-heat headers paint?..........Can't wait to read those........ !! FUN, Fun, fun !

well I didn't say instead of greasing the O-ring on the inside of the caseback.

just simply asking if along with greasing the crown area/caseback area.. can this be applied on top.

Sealing my Oyster cases......

After I pull the crown to the time setting position, I roll-up a little booger and carefully ease it in with a toothpick inside the crown treads and on the crown tube too. Depends when I have a good booger or not, kinda personal, but hey, it works for me!...........And oh, do it in private, Ok.........

I think coating my underwear with it is the way to go. Never have to worry about pissing myself while drinking again!

Just kidding ......

Just kidding astrograph, stay away from those products, the compounds in them could turn your rubber seals and O rings to become brittle over a short period. Not a good thing. Just my two cents here as I have heard a lot of horror stories regarding those silicon based products.........all the best to you.....

Mafiosi are known to try anything and everything. Heck they even keep a cheap plastic funnel around the table while drinking their Sicilian shine! :D:
