Just ordered one for my hopefully soon incoming next AP Rep (Panda or Orchard Road, can't decide.....)
It is all rather academic because, on careful examination of their site, they have nothing for the 14790. That is one of the few APs' that I really like.
However, the fact that I can't get a replacement band for it is keeping me from ordering one.
I really do like the way it looks though.
I can confirm that HK uses inserts for his hornbacks. His hornbacks are truly a work of art. I personally prefer his single horn design as compared to AP bands double horn.

Aaron said his inserts are hand molded using polymer, i think only recently he started using inserts. I'm not sure if the one with the white stitching has, awaiting his confirmation as this was ordered about a mth back, but he has told me the red stitching one has the inserts.
Regardless i think the quality of his straps are quite amazing.

It's still impossible to see the inserts from these pics, but yes I've heard members sing great praises for his straps, would be great if you could recent pics confirming inserts and better detail.

Well that's what he told me, he uses polymer inserts, the straps are still at his end. The white stitch one is going over to Vac in the US, so i wouldn't know. Will ask HKtan again for you.
I'm not doubting you, but better pics to confirm would be of benefit to both the members and ultimately Arron.
