I've got a 15500 and 26240 coming my way - I was looking to get at least one of them preemptively serviced when I received it to ensure longevity.

I reached out to 5 watchmakers mentioned on several different forums and to a T all 5 said they don't work on AP clone movements because of how poorly made they are. Did I just by two irreparable time bombs? Is there anyone out there who does work on these?

Why do that?
You could wear it amount of time (X) snd then when its busted pay amount B (lets say 250 usd) and have a great newed serviced watch for lets say 7-10 years.

OR let it run for X, which can be YEARS, and save the 250usd till you first servuce it then.

For service check our service and parts peoviders list in RWI Subforum

Why do that.

When you can buy a fake.
Wear it to purposely break it.

Then buy another.

I was under the impression these movements come dry, possibly dirty, and unregulated. I was hoping by having a service done it would extend the life of the movement and improve accuracy..

Some come lubed better than others, some bader.
You cant extend lifetime of a movement by servicing it dieectly at beginnibg. Never change a running system:)

If it works, dont service.

The 4302 and 4401 typical issue lies in the autowinding works and mainspring. The two most common issues I hear is that autowind doesnt charge the watch and it has low PR.

Some people here can service your watch, including our own Legend. I do have watches that had the movement serviced and not, especially 15500s and 15400s. Biggest difference that I can immediately feel is the serviced watch has a *much* longer actual power reserve. Keep in mind the #1 thing to not do with these watches is to set the time backwards. Avoiding that alone should help with the lifespan.

That's helpful to know, I wasn't aware of that!

Another thing I remember reading a long time ago is that chronos should only be reset between 1 and 10 to reduce stress on the gears winding back. Is that true?
