thinking of buyibg a AP ROO rubberclad from JF again.

how are them today? Any updates ones? I can see on some TDs there is one from JF called V2, is that the best and latest?

I consider this a nice classic model, but some members have had QC issues with their recent purchases. See recent thread from Tompa describing unnecessarily increased thickness on their examples of this JF sourced watch. Something to the effect of “WTF JF?”
