Tbh the RBII is the 1st rep that I've ever seriously considered having serviced and modded, so would have probably sent off anyway to get done. The quality is just as high and the RBII is so light to wear on the wrist with it being Ti, the Montoya just screams in your face look at me, lol.

Must be good! Are you doing anything big like plate mods, or just service etc? Yeah the montoya is just crazy nice - think it's favourite!

Ohhhhh god damn - thought it was Angus's 15400 then, made me incredibly over excited. Read through the thread, not sure if i'll bother.. for me the RO model reps just don't have the quality finishing and to be honest i don't think this will be any different, it's just got updated rotor and more accurate dial/logo. Will have to wait for some reviews, a RG would be nice!

What dealer did you use? Wouldn't a reputable dealer take care of that? I know sead gives a few months of informal warranty.

I'm sure he would have given me the option to send back and have replaced, I was going to send off anyway to get the mod and service done so seemed pointless to bother him, hardly his fault.

Why would he do that ? So he can get another ticking time bomb of a movement. You get it serviced and jewel mod. Now you have an AP that will last for a long time.
