the movement locks very good, not gen look but much better then the 2824...close to gen
This watch is really nice, I may buy my fifth diver
Put it on a anthrazit Hornback and you never will sell it.

I was thinking about grey alcantara

The Miyota movement is very nice, like you said, not gen like but better than an undecorated 2824 by far!

Well it's a fantasy piece so no gen to compare it to. I will post up some pics when it arrives and will tell you then.
