What are your thoughts, which one is a better option in your opinion and why? They are both slightly similar in structure but made with different materials/finishing and just a few other differences. If you were to pick one which would it be ??

I wanted the white rubberclad as my first chrono ROO, but while looking for it at Ryans site I saw the chronopassion with that sand blasted finish and I just had to have it.

Don't get the CR if you're looking for a daily beater tho.. You have to really baby those titanium watches.

The bad thing about titanium is that it scratches easily.
The good thing about titanium is that the scratches are easily removed.

Haha, yes I agree the titanium scratches easy on the Chronopassion so a little too risky for everyday use.

Yes, the titanium does sctratch easy but what is usually the best way to remove it? Another thing with the Rubberclad is even though it is a beautiful watch it seems to be a very popular watch with every AP fan. Almost everyone one who likes the AP ROO has that watch in their collection which makes it quite common and you see a lot more of it around than so may other models or what do you think?

I live in Southern California, where you see a lot of opulence. No matter which AP you choose, you won't be seeing many of them out and about. So don't worry about that.

Go for CP, i wouldnt worry about scratches if youre not using it for gardening or garage work.
I had mine for over a year, wear it about once a week and not a single scratch.

Speaking of Rubberclads,
Which one is more accurate - black or white dial?

I have a white dial rubberclad on the way to me now, it's probably one of my favorite ROO's...so I'm going to have to say steel rubberclad!

Don't think so.... the last time I checked. You probably have to confirm from any of the dealers, they get new stocks once in a while.

The black dial Rubberclad sub dial fonts on the rep are slightly thicker than gen, other than the usual flaws it is pretty accurate.

AP Rubberclad all the way - no scratches - wears well with everything and the chrono dials off set the watch. Prepared to get laid ........
