Sorry to burst you guys bubble but do you really expect the rep to be as good as gen? Come on, there is always going to be some flaw and all this hype would go flat once it is released. Unless we convince the factories to use copied lwo movements, all AP reps are full of flaws.

Agreed, It's just terrible and not having an AP logo is the icing on the cake, but to each his own I guess !

Funny thing you said, but yet again so many people were saying the same about T3 release and nobody wants to part with is somehow. I agree its not "mainstream" but its not bad looking ROO after all. I've changed my mind and I would buy it if repped as good as newest Noob ROO's
Lack of AP logo= less things to f-up.
The thing that lets this watch down is the gold. Gold watches are hideous period. However there is enough design to carry the hideousness of the gold. The presence of the rubber strap edges the design into appealing territory. If this thing came with a bracelet it would be dead.
I personally would consider this over the safari or navy anyday. Brown, cream and navy blue are grandad colours. Im surprised these watches don't come with corduroy straps. IMO of course.

Yes that pic looks very good. Its overall design must be good if it makes me forgive the presence of gold.

It will be so so so awesome, if the factories actually do use Asian copied LWO 283 movements...
I mean seriously, they can buy $30k $40k watches to replicate them, they can't buy a lwo283 movement for $500- $600?? Think about all the possibilities and what people would be willing to pay.

I don't know why but I really like this. Reminds me of a reverse QEII. I don't think I would buy a rep of this since in general I stay away from gold reps, but I really really like the look of the gen. Very few gold watches can pull off the gold but sporty look. It's not an easy task. Never been a fan of like the yellow gold subs or GMTs, or even really the AP 44mm RG. I think the lighter grey tones match better with gold than the blacks of a lot of other gold sports watches.
Well the Quartz has been released and as expected it's terrible.... After seeing the gen while in Paris it's REALLY grown on me and I cannot wait for J12's release
