Francisco's work on movement is amazing. He is very talented. I wish he was in the conus. I think every sec@12 needs this!

I just got a reply from Andrew from Trusty Time and he says, "There's NO factory that makes Ti bands for AP ROO".

I find this very hard to believe but I haven't seen one so I can't rule that out that statement.

Can anyone help me find these AP ROO Titanium?

@sidakco: what andrew says is correct, this does not exist. But please do not post the same question in different AP threads...

The silver themes is available as per gen, with a SS case and band.

@sidakco

If you get the chance, try the gen Ti at an AD.
Feels just as flimsy as a Rolex sub bracelet (Don´t kick me in the nutz Rollie lovers!)
So as Edge said, go with the SS version and enjoy it!
Very nice finish on the steel bracelet.

Jiddy: Great post, very informative! Thank you so much for sharing. I understand that the black theme is the one beginners should opt for, however, you didn't give us an insight on whether an out-of-the-box first purchase will be good enough for us to be sporting the AP brand? Are mods really that essential for an ROO to feel better, or is it just more or less about being a perfectionist? :)

Yes agree with Guru, and the watch out of the box is AMAZING! :)
I would even go as far as saying the feel/look is probably one of the closest of all the reps I own (talking straight out of the box now, not heavily modded ones)
This is at least my personal opinion.

With a black hornback croco strap on it it´s crazy nice and the person to step up and say "hey that´s a rep" is either a AD selling the gen (and he would be to close for comfort to your wrist) or someone that´s into the rep game.

Even a 2nd hand watchdealer got fooled 1-2 weeks back and it wasn´t until our RWI members pointed out a few specific things he belived it.

Check the post it´s in the AP section I belive, that´s how good the ROO´s are and that one wasn´t modded I pretty sure of...

So modding it is for the fun and to make a really great rep into a superior watch!

Ps, here´s a link to my unmodded straight-out-of-da-box black theme :)

More pic´s in the near future of the modded one *drool

I second this. This brand in particular seems to be a minefield.

Sorry for the late reply, been AWOL for a while since life forced it´s way in haha!

Not really a minefield :)
It´s just like all other reps, movement might need an overhaul asap cleaning/oiling and sometimes the insert of jewel to counter the friction on sec@12 and possibly lume work on dial and single/double sided AR for one serious APROO rep.

All of the AP´s are more or less simply amazing out-of-the-box, the rest of the mods are just icing on the cake (cleaning/oiling movement is a MUST and possibly insertion of jewel if seconds hand stutters)

Just stay away from the cheap versions, all trusted dealers can source the good one´s so no sweat over that :)

Puretime.co is quite easy to order from and been around for ages.
