Some other flaws indeed pertaining to individual AP models. Most I can live with but for some reasons, not with the big logo. :D
It's all mainly about the OCD in ourselves that we nitpick about flaws, not because of worrying that other people might find out that the watch is a rep e.g. people really like to dismiss flaws saying that others won't see them at arms length... It's about us, not about other people! Lol. We have disorder! Well, at least me. :p

I agree with that. I don't wear them to fool people, I'm open with people im wearing a rep. I wear them because I like the style of the Gens and can't get afford it

the TD who issue the run, will try to sell all the stock that they ordered from the factory.

normally it will be somewhere 150pcs run or how many TD ordering.

TD will expect to sell them at once since its their responsible to sell them all,

unlike a normal run, where the factory produce and TD is only the marketing, TD doesnt have the burden to sell or probably financial funds to produce.

the usual way was, the TD will open a thread and ask for commitment, and then alot of members will say yes that they want, and then on the day that the product available, alot of people gone, change their mind or uncontactable.
Alot of stand up member tou...who keep their purchase even their not happy with the end product.

The success Limited i think is only MH,

57 strret and TA is a very nice rep, but i dont understand why not sold out by now...

Although I don't announce it... I get tons of compliments on my reps the same or more than my gens. I don't feel it's anyone's business, we like the watches, they like them, so all is good!

I didn't mean to imply i announce it. The reality is I don't know any university students walking around with a collection of 20k watches , so if I get asked how I afford them I just tell them what they are and my reasoning for them. At the end of the day this is just another hobby so why treat it any different

Haha well I have a couple AP reps , a Gen Rolex (was a gift) and I've been between a couple gen Omegas and IWCs. All in all, actual value is about 7k without the Rollie as it has no monetary value to me. All sentimental. If they were all Gens I would say 60k maybe I dunno ?

I think they did a good job, but when you see the BB you have to be a bit disapointed seeing the Doha.. with that old dial logo, the 5 and 7 spacing, and the numbers-subdials spacing really off. Maybe to somes people it's not a deal breaker but to me it is. I can't stop imaging that if they took a couple of weeks more to get the details right this would be a super rep as the BB is for us... it's a shame really we wouldn't be here talking about theses old usual flaws but we would all be ordering it right now!!

Sorry if someone's mentioned this before, but this appears to be SS rather than Ti as per the gen.

Not a problem for me, coz i'm not a big fan of titanium anyway

Oh damn, you're correct! I thought it's already a given that the case would be Ti. Apparently, it's stated as SS on PT... ridiculous mistake from J12.
Now this thing has completely gone from being a consideration to nope.

Woah, if they make a mistake on the case, its not acceptable since both of the material is already available.

The SS and Ti do have a different glare on outdoor, ti is greyish, so its a tell from a distence.

it's a typo mistake when you compare the Doha pics against the buemi.. looks the same and you can see a difference with the usual APs on his website...No worries guys but still too much steps back compare to the BB for me.. maybe if a v2 comes out...
