It isn't so much the colours as it is the crown guards and pushers. Just too blocky for my liking. Gotta say though, I am almost tempted to get one because of Michael.

It's a similar build in terms of structure/ crown guards to the AP Grand Prix 44mm, so I'm assuming you don't like the Grand Prix versions either then??

Not particularly no. I like the 42 ROO the best followed by the novelty versions. More for you guys I guess haha

When I first saw this watch I really loved it. But my main issues are

1.) that silly checked flag going along the tach ring. I don't know from shots that are a bit back it throws off the look of the watch

2.) why couldn't those blue stars be another color? The only ap I've seen integrated multiple colors well was the RBII with its flag colored hands. The blue stars on this look silly.

My concerns with the rep

1.) DW
2.) Crown design.
3.) crown gaurds and crown being scratch magnets like CP maybe?

Either way it's still pretty cool and I'm more so excited to see how j12 handles this. They're doing so good.

The stars are blue to reflect the color of Bennetton, the F1 team with whom he won his first two championships. The other 5 were won in the red cars, hence red stars.
