Don Ramon is a great watch. You will
be happy with it.
What about the movement it's older like the Ruben II, is it stable?

but they are all ticking time bombs
I have 6 sec@12 movements here, including one from the very first batch of these movements. all 6 work perfectly. I can not confirm that these are time bombs.

The prototype of the Schumacher looks very promising, only some small/minor corrections, nothing serious, need to be done (datewheel e.g.).
Not sure about flaws that are noticed by me, not sure if the factory sees any need to correct these minor flaws.
I sit on the fence, money in my hands, readyto pullthe trigger themoment it appears!

Did Angus finally sent you a pic? This morning you questioned if it would be released and now you talk about DW flaws?
What happened?

BTW: we have not yet heard of any release date, we have not yet seen any spy-pics of the watch or anything that will convince us thatthe release will really happen!
Dr. Theo
.... for now we only saw black/white and white/black datewheels for ROO´s. THe red/black has to be newly printed and was not yet ready. I also suggested to adjust the font and size but I doubt the factory will listen.
What do you all think how long it takes from a prototype to a mass-product???
Let me just say, release date is unknown but won´t be in the next 3 weeks. The prototype is stunning, the watch is and will be a beauty and hot-seller.
Dr. Theo
Yes, you have not seen pics! Have you?
And yes, J12 knows about the datewheel, the correct one was just not ready to show in the prototype
Anyway .... the watch will be great.
Dr. Theo
Pics are not yet released by factory for general viewing. Maybe as we get closer.
Thanks but is it close meaning like bumble bee close way back when?

What I saw was pretty far along. It would be good for them to expose the work-in-progress for general critique to our nit-picking eyes. But it is their call. Meaning, J12's call.
I don't know their release schedule. They seem pretty busy with an ambitious launch program of many different models.
What other models that you know of?
IMO first of all is the Navy.
If they spoof out a Navy at the level of the Bumble Bee they will sold every single piece they produce.
