Sorry what I mean is how diff is it from the gen. Some say is pvd, some say is dlc so I'm a bit confused. As for the AP bumble bee, the gen is DLC also and the rep is PVD?

DLC = Diamond Like Carbon
PVD = Particle Vapour Deposition.

DLC is the black carbon coating we are getting on the watches. PVD is the process used to make the DLC coating on the watches. So really they are talking about the same thing. However PVD can be used to put different things on metals, like zinc or gold etc.

Thanks....so this Lava is PVD.....how does it compare to the GEN anyone? Don't tell me noone get it and all get volcano....lol...how about the End of Days edition? Gen is DLC but rep is PVD?

Taka or Avitt can do a very nice DLC job on it and it´s a pretty big difference between PVD and DLC when it comes to durability and personally I prefer the DLC finish
Not seen the gen so can´t say how big difference it is, but since then sec@12 reps normally is VERY good I doubt the Lava is bad, but don´t quote me on that!

As for the bumble bee, the gen case is in forged carbon, not steel at all, except for the caseback. It also has a different movement (same as RBII?) and the pushers are inline with the crown. So the bumble-rep is pretty much useless..

Edit: The movments are the same as other ROOs, its the case that is thicker so the pushers looks centered in the CGs. The offset to the crown is the same as other ROOs. Sorry, my bad.

Hey there Sagara, you did well ordering the Lava, it's a great rep, the gen is PVD coated. The orange colour is spot on. It only has the flaws each ROO rep has, datewindow & crown in wrong position, finishing on the pushers and caseback that is too thick.

As for the lava, the gen comes with a black hornback strap with orange stitching, I would suggest not to get the leather strap, but the rubber. And get the leather strap aftermarket, will be much closer to the gen.

Anyway, if you'd receive QC pics, let us now and post them here.

As for the bumblebee, it indeed is not a good rep, the gen is forged carbon as EVR said, so the case is thicker, also there is another flaw on the bumblebee dial, the gen has "swiss made" in the tachyring, the rep hasn't. The bumblebee has too much flaws to be a good rep. Though I like it.

Seems like most people get the volcano instead of Lava.....seems like Lava is lack of love? Is it because the whole watch is black or most prefer the combination of silver, black and orange. Any views to share? I curious....

I don't know about anyone else, but I get nervous about any watch that has a coating/plating, so right there that's just one reason to go Volcano. I'm also not fond of black watches in general, because unless they're immaculately clean, every single fingerprint and slightest amount of dust will just make it look like a cheap Casio.

That having been said, this might be one watch that I would make an exception for, because it's just so beautiful.
