Well, this snuck in the door. Got this through a trade and must say I'm very impressed by it. Quality is amazing. Blue cyclops doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Wow! great pictures. Great lume applications too! Is it a V3 or a V3.5?

Great pics Bonesey, I was seriously considering getting the cyclops changed, but tbh it doesn't bother me that much, would however like to get mine serviced.

I sold my v3 awhile ago, and it was almost impossible to capture a picture of the blue AR for the sale pictures in anything but very bright daylight.

Not sure what the big deal is about the v3.5 lately, especially with the questionable lume application. I miss my v3, but don't want a v3.5 replacement.

The sloppy lume and the absence of the Sellita SW200 option on the 3.5 make it a step backwards IMO.

Enjoy the watch Bonesey, lovely pics!

I've got to say, it's one of the few watches that just feel fits the width of my wrist.

Guys, it seems like it was only the initial batch of 3.5's that had less than stellar lume applied to the inner bezel. Sead sent me QC pictures for three v3.5's and they all looked good to me.

The loss of the sellita option was a bit disappointing, but actually may not be a bad thing. Sead had originally advised against going for the ETA, with its $120 premium over the clone and since you never know what you're really getting. the clones aren't available, I decided to go for the ETA anyway. Now I am glad I did because Sead spoke with the factory and was told that noob is not only using the new OTB ETA movements, but they actually got their hands on the higher end versions 2826's. He couldn't confirm whether they are elabore or top grade. If this is true, these movements are much better than the SW200 and light years better than the clones, since both versions use etachron adjustment systems and, I believe, Incabloc shock protection systems. With minor regulation, these movements should be easily tuned to operate to COSC standards and maintain those operational standards for a very long time. It should also have good power reserve. If this is true (a big if), then the extra $120 is worth it and I am much better off than getting a base sellita SW200. Anyway, I'll know when I get the watch. :cheese:

Got mine today, already took it apart, water proofed it and fixed a stripped lug screw :) Nice watch but I wouldn't trade any of my sec @12 for it, those are still my favorites and the build quality is not much different. Still a worthy addition to the family, guess I was expecting more with all the fuss around it.

Nope, but I bet Bonesey can help you, hell he might even get you the first vintage Diver if you are into freaky stuff like that, just don't let him put it on a vintage strap, that's taking it to far

Nice! How'd you end up removing and waterproofing the bezel rotation crown?
